Hang’s journey spanned from the coastal city of Ha Long, to the East coast of the USA, to the scorching breezes of Sai Gon. It is one that exposed her to drastically different cultural and social dynamics, nurturing in her an appreciation and empathy for the mundanity and complexities of interpersonal living, which she seeks to bring to life through the most intimate and powerful of vehicles – words, sounds, and images.
